Organic India - Tulsi Tea
Back
Organic India means absolute commitment to quality. All products are 100% organic, pure and natural.
In India, the herb Tulsi (sometimes spelled “Tulasi”) has been widely known for its health promoting and medicinal value for thousands of years. Commonly called sacred or holy basil, it is a principal herb of Ayurveda, the ancient traditional holistic health system of India. Tulsi is traditionally known as “The Incomparable One”, “The Mother Medicine of Nature”, and “The Queen of Herbs”.
Tulsi (Holy Basil) is a new herb to Australia. It is classified as an adaptogen. Which means it helps your body adapt to stress. In fact it is a more effective herb than ginseng in its anti-stress activity. It is also energising. You will notice a difference when you start drinking 3 cups of Tulsi tea 3 times a day for 3 days a week.
Organic India is proud and honoured to be the first company to introduce the sacred Tulsi (Holy Basil) as a delicious Herbal Tea. The Tulsi Tea Collection includes blends, all based on The Original Tulsi Tea: a proprietary combination of three
varieties of Organic Tulsi.
The Original contains just Tulsi and it has a very clean, refreshing taste and is energising.
The Tulsi Ginger contains ginger which is excellent for improved circulation, very good for things like varicose veins, and to enhance digestion. This flavour is the number one seller and very popular with men.
The Tulsi Gotu Kola contains Gotu Kola which is also called Brahmi. This herb is
excellent for improved brain function, memory and improving focus. Excellent to drink at work and for people sitting exams.
The Tulsi Green Tea has green tea added which contains an extra boost of anti-oxidants as Tulsi also has anti-oxidants. This tea is great for your skin and overall wellbeing. People who like green tea say it doesn’t have the aftertaste which is usually associated with green tea.
The Tulsi Chai contains a little bit of black tea along with ginger, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, mace, making it a delicious tea which is excellent for digestion.

“I encounter a lot of stress throughout my work day. When I drink Tulsi Tea, I become calmer, relaxed, and am able to better focus on the task at hand. It’s a great alternative to coffee, which always leaves me jumpy.”
