Program Leader - Occidental Medicine
at Endeavour College of Natural Health in Melbourne or Brisbane

The highest standard of education and the most informed curriculum has fostered the College’s expansion to become Australia’s pre-eminent provider of education to the natural medicine sector. The College delivers a full suite of accredited Bachelor programs in natural health across the country as well as many registered Vocational Education programs, to over 6,000 students overall.
The Role
Operating within either Naturopathy, Nutritional Medicine or Western Herbal Medicine, your role will encompass course planning, course design and development, course delivery, selection of educational resources, assessment, students' learning outcomes and course evaluation with the ultimate aim of ensuring the ongoing quality, consistency and renewal of course and curriculum materials nationally within professional and regulatory guidelines across the program/s in which they lead. You will also be responsible for the human resource matters and functions of senior lecturing staff, and where appropriate, provide guidance to and support the senior lecturers with HR matters for lecturers and tutors.
You will be accountable to the Associate Director, Academic, for:
•Making decisions and recommendations relating to course-specific academic matters
•Recommending and driving policy decisions regarding course and curriculum
•National consistency and quality of course and assessment materials delivered
•Annual course evaluation under the direction of the National Manager Quality Standards and Compliance
•Overall management of your Department, and the tasks required for daily operations as well as major developments within the Department
Your Profile
To be successful in joining our academic team, you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
•Masters or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
•Current membership of an appropriate professional association
•Proven record of academic excellence, evidenced by an outstanding contribution to teaching at a tertiary level
•Demonstrated experience in the development and review of curriculum and assessment materials at VET and Bachelor levels in line with regulatory and professional guidelines
•Demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships
•High ethical, personal and professional standards
•Proven ability to lead, team-build, manage, mentor and develop staff
You will have the capacity and demonstrated willingness to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach and work cooperatively with other organisational units and staff to achieve the College mission and objectives, undertaking research in related areas to your field.
The Location
This position can be located at our Brisbane or Melbourne campus.
The Reward
This position attracts a remuneration of $65,000 to $80,000 plus Super plus Employee Benefits.
