We are offering the opportunity to make a difference in Australia’s largest independent environmental organisation. Help drive the future growth and sustainability for The Wilderness Society by inspiring the public and raising awareness about the environmental issues within Australia.
Right now we are looking for confident communicators to join our fun and successful team of dedicated environmental fundraisers. Our teams engage the public directly, having fantastic face-to-face conversations at indoor and outdoor locations and gaining vital support for our campaigns.
The Wilderness Society has been saving Australia’s wilderness areas for thirty years! Our fundraising program is the most successful of its kind in Australia, and has been running for almost 10 years!
Responsibilities include:
• Fundraising in assigned territory/venues for monthly and yearly memberships to The Wilderness Society
• Ensuring The Wilderness Society beliefs and values are upheld whilst campaigning to the public
• Complete rostered shifts at 90% rate
• Attend Wilderness updates when required
• Complete all sign up and admin paperwork accurately

• Ability to sell a vision
• Be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days work per week
• Fundraising, sales and customer service experience is highly regarded, but not essential as full training is provided.
